As the only constant in this world with its Survivor Cities and hundreds of outposts, the UWO introduced its own global currency $CASH, which is valid in all UWO territories worldwide. By cleverly coupling this with the issuance of goods and commodities from their own vast trading network, and by paying their own employees with $CASH, the UWO managed to establish their new currency under the supervision of a newly formed financial authority, while at the same time creating a price base.
