👥Characters

Immerse yourself in a world full of diverse characters with detailed background stories. Whether friend or foe, most of them have been heavily marked by fate and are driven by their own motivations, which are revealed bit by bit. Following the example of many anime series and RPG games, my stories also have a clear focus on their individual development over the course of the story. But be aware of one thing: in a world as dangerous as that of Immortal Parasite, not everyone will survive to the end...

Main Character

JP doesn't think much of himself. Because no matter how often he tells himself that he had no other choice, his decisions in the past ultimately led to the deaths of three drug dealers and his stay in a prison cell. But for some reason, the highly decorated UWO General Tolian recognizes potential in the criminal and offers him the chance to atone for his sins in the service of the UWO for the good of humanity.

In the main storyline of Immortal Parasite, the reader follows the adventures of former criminal JP and his transformation into the general of the UWO army, whose destiny becomes to free humanity from the threat of the alien IRDs. But in the apocalypse, no one survives alone, and so more and more comrades-in-arms gradually join his journey...

Even though JP plays a central role in the story, the narrative perspective alternates between different characters, who are given more or less weight depending on the story arc. Later special editions and side stories will even focus entirely on other main characters who are introduced later.

Supporting Characters

Many authors put hardly any work into the development of their supporting characters and let them pale into insignificance next to the protagonists. I think that's a mistake! Supporting characters contribute more to a story than you might think. They serve for much more than mere interaction with the protagonists and can not only provide recurring laughs, they can provide strong motivations and significantly steer the course of the story.

Let's take Uncle Ben, who has almost no screentime in the story of Spider-Man and yet he influences the entire development and behavior of the hero with just one sentence: "With great power there must also come great responsibility". Imagine Star Wars without R2-D2 or Yoda, Batman without the tragic story of Jason Todd. I could give you dozens of examples...

Villains

What would Batman be without the Joker, Star Wars without Darth Vader or The Walking Dead without Negan? I believe that a story can only ever be as good as its villains. Regardless of the numerous dangers in the Wastelands and the alien IRD parasite, you can be sure that the biggest threat usually comes from other humans. In the course of the story, our heroes are constantly confronted with new, even more dangerous enemies, which means that they have to rise above themselves time and again.

But who actually determines what is right and wrong in a world without laws, where most people are just trying to survive? Everyone has their own story and maybe not everyone is as bad as they seem in the end...
